Maes Tegid is a small but functional ground just behind the high street in the small market town of Bala. The ground previously suffered from serious pitch issues, but these have been rectified with the laying of a 3G pitch in recent years. I’m not particularly a fan of 3G pitches, but one was definitely needed here in Bala!

The ground is entered from a corner between the main stand and the Tyfos Stand behind one goal. The ground has a strip of hard standing all around the ground, with the Tyfos Stand acting as a small covered terrace behind this goal.

Moving around the ground, again a strip of hard standing shares one side with the dugouts and TV gantry.

Behind the other goal is simply a strip of hard standing with a grass bank behind that some fans make use of to get a slightly elevated viewpoint.

Finally, down the other side are the main stands. These are your standard small seated stands that you find popping up at most Welsh grounds these days, with Bala having five of them down this side, making up about two-thirds of this side, before the clubhouse, toilets, and turnstiles make up the rest.

All in all Maes Tegid is a tidy little ground,, the ground appears well organised which is nothing less than you would expect from this well run club.
