School Lane is a ground of a very good standard for this level of football, so much so it was selected as one of the grounds for the Inter-Island Games in 2019.
Cemaes Bay had three seasons in the top flight of Welsh football in the mid to late 90s, and you can see from the standards of the ground the setup is more suitable to a much higher level.
Their time in the top tier was the longest spell for any side from Anglesey in the top division, with Llangefni Town the only other side from the island managing this, with a single season in 2007/08.
The ground has very similar looking covered ends, and an open area of hard standing down one side.
Down the other side is a food kiosk, the changing rooms, and an area of open seating.
Cemaes Bay tend to play their home games on a Friday night, making use of their floodlights, and resulting in their attendances being boosted from neutrals from around the island travelling to Cemaes for their local football fix, a smart move I feel.
