Maesdu Park, or The Giant Hospitality Stadium as it is currently known for sponsorship reasons, is shared between Llandundo FC, who ply their trade in the Welsh Premier League, and Llandudno Albion, who play in the Welsh Alliance League Division One, the third tier of Welsh football.

You enter the ground through a single turnstile in the grey building in the first picture. On entering the ground, you will find yourself behind one of the goals which has hard standing, and houses a fairly large clubhouse serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. On my visit, a live Champions League game was being shown, so the clubhouse did at the time of writing have BT Sports, although I am not sure about Sky.

Behind the opposite goal is covered seating, which adds to the atmosphere, as during my visits the travelling fans from Bangor on one occasion and Llanrwst on another were able to make quite a racket in this stand.

Down one side, you have another area of covered seating as well as a two-tiered building on the halfway line. I’m not too sure what its use is, although in I am determined to find this out, out of curiosity if nothing else!

On the opposite side you have a mish-mash of a couple of separate covered seated stands, dugouts, the TV gantry sitting on the halfway line, and then an area of indoor seating with large windows designated to VIP supporters.

All in all, Maesdu Park is a decent ground by Welsh standards, and has the advantage of being situated in the pleasant seaside resort of Llandudno, but bear in mind it is a fair walk from the promenade and centre itself.
