The Fortress is a very simple ground set in a park in housing estate. The ground has all-round pitch railings but no hard standing. On one side though is a grass bank which in dry weather gives you some elevation above pitch level as you can see in the pictures.
The other side of the ground houses both dugouts, and that is pretty much it for this ground, other than to say on the day I visited, and I guess this is the same for each game, there was no admission fee!
The ground is quite high up in the village of Gronant, to the east of Prestatyn, which gives good views over Liverpool Bay, the windfarms, and Talacre lighthouse.
