There isn’t a pitch for Waunfawr to play on in the village of Waunfawr itself, so the club have to play their home games on a pitch in Coed Helen Park in Caernarfon. The ground is as basic as they come, with spectators standing around the pitch which has no pitch railings.

My visit was just after the season ended, so the grass had grown along with the daisies and dandelions. It will be interesting to see how it looks on a matchday. One plus point are the views of the Menai Straits and the nearby Caernarfon Castle.
